Hi folks,
i 'm new to porteus and slack at all and don't know yet how to make usable modules. I need to learn though

.
I love zathura as a streamlined document viewer especially with the zathura-mupdf plugin.
http://pwmt.org/projects/zathura/
It needs gaya afaik and eventually one or two libs ..
Please let me know, if there is probably already a module or if you are planning to make one i would praise you
#zathura #zathura-mupdf #girara (*how to use hashtags in this forum?)

AcnapyxoB, this is funny, i already tried a package from salix.org last weekend, that did not work at all (starting it from terminal prompted that some library was missing .. however this one you linked above seems to work but as you can see it doesn't show the document correctly so i switched that module off and switched my mupdf.xzm on again to compare:

Maybe zathura.xzm & zathura-mupdf.xzm togther??
Lets see, i'll try it out and let people know here soon .. thank you for your link now i keep my promise:
i tried to show the images from imgur here but it did not work

did i something wrong?

Sorry
grobi I've never used zathura, but according to the screenshot it seems to be a problem with fonts
About missing libraries etc. I'm using package manager from this post:
viewtopic.php?f=53&t=10205#p88598
Keep in mind that it does not work on Porteus-5.1-alpha*
Porteus v5.01 KDE x86_64

AcnapyxoB,
Sorry, my mistake i should have mentionend, that i 'm on "Porteus v5.1 alpha 2"

And I mentioned 'gaya' as a package but that was wrongly remembered by me it's called 'girara' but it had no effect here either.
I have to be patient though and get along with mupdf which works without flaws here.. just missing some features.
Is there a popular alternative which you find on most slack-based distros maybe??
PS: is it always so complicated to post here? The preview stucks loading on my side every time and i have to reload the page loosing my post.. some error-message with "outdated token" ...
